Difference between Antigen testing and Molecular testing

Molecular testing also known as: RT-PCR test,  nucleic acid
amplification test (NAAT) and LAMP test. We do not provide this test.

Antigen testing also known as Rapid diagnostic test is done by taking nasal/throat swabs and gives results within 15 minutes. We do provide this test

The sensitivity of the antigen test is 90% (slightly less accurate than PCR testing) .

This means the antigen test will correctly return a positive result for 90% of people who have the disease, but will return a negative result — a false negative — for 10% of the people who have the disease and should have tested positive

The specificity of the antigen test is 98%

This means the antigen test will correctly return a negative result for 98% of people who don’t have the disease, but will return a positive result — a false positive — for 2% of the people who don’t have the disease and should have tested negative

We can provide a certificate confirming the antigen testing results.

Please confirm with your airlines/destination country authorities if they accept antigen testing

If they insist on having molecular testing (PCR) then our antigen test will not be suitable for you.
